Company Profile
Our Association established in 1956, since twice reorganized then
named the "Taiwan Garment Industry Association"(TGIA) in 1974.
It has been more than 63years since our establishment. Currently,
we have 150 member manufacturers, with export value amounting
to over US$0.22 billion, but the production amounts more than
US$10 billion around the world in 2018.
TGIA is now working on product R&D and design, a strategic
alliance, e-commerce and will organize the Taiwan International
Garment Industry Association. We hope to integrate Taiwanese
garment business owners worldwide to work together for a greater
market share. After Taiwan enters WTO and global quota limit
in textile products is lifted, TGIA will enhance our service for all
garment business owners, at home and abroad, in order to create a
brighter future.
