FORMOSA CHEMICALS & FIBRE CORPORATION (FCFC)
was founded on March 5, 1965. Business revenue
around 10 billion USD per year.
The company now has eight business divisions,
namely 1~3 Chemical Divisions, Plastics Division, Textile
Division, 1st fiber Division (Rayon), 2nd fiber Division
(Nylon) and Engineering & Construction Division.
Textile Division Major Businesses:
Yarn: We have 320,000 spindles spinning frames in
Taiwan and Vietnam that produce Rayon yarn, cotton
yarn, blended yarn, acrylic yarn and functional
special yarn.
Short-fiber fabric: We have 328 air-jet looms, 58 Sulzer
looms and 58 water jet looms, which altogether
produce 3.2 million yards of rayon, E/R blended
cloth, E/C blended cloth, cotton fabric, PU fabric,
interwoven fabric, tarpaulin, Flame retardant and Fire
proof fabric, Special industrial fabric.
Nylon filament fabric: The dyeing and finishing
facilities produce 1.6 million of dyed plain weave and
crepe weave per month.
