At times when most of Taiwan's traditional industries shifted outside of Taiwan, Zig Sheng, on the contrary, has decided to stay at Taiwan, and aggressively seeking to transform the technology and business model to suit the macro environment changes. Apart from pursuing competitive advantage by specializing in small, differentiated textured yarn, Zig Sheng also penetrated into thse upstream polyamide industry in 1997 with nylon yarn and polyamide polymers. With over NT$ 2 billion invested in the expansions. Zig Sheng has consolidated its status as one of the world's leading polyamide polymer suppliers.
